A Catholic homestead focused on facilitating synergistic ecosystems through agroforestry, permaculture, prayer, and a little elbow grease.
Located in zone 9b in the Nature Coast, west central FL, we are a 1.25 ac homestead dedicated to creating optimal production of minds and bodies through fostering a synergistic relationship between plant and animal species.Using maximum efficiency of skills and labor, catering to natural plant and animal instincts and tendencies that provide multiple benefits to our systems, and doing our daily duty as God calls on us to do, we endeavor to bring about that serendipitous and synergistic conflux of biological and spiritual activity which provides for the greatest vitality, fertility, and nutrient density our small plot can produce.
We encourage diverse soil webs to establish a hardy and complex plant microbiome as the basis and foundation for our intense homesteading challenge of an uber large family increasing self-sufficiency and resiliency on a relatively small footprint.
